Ethics and Values

My work is guided by integrity, analytical rigor, and professional accountability.

My work is grounded in professional integrity, analytical rigor, and accountability to clients, partners, and affected communities. I adhere to ethical standards commonly applied by multilateral development banks and United Nations agencies, ensuring that research and advisory services are independent, responsible, and fit for purpose.

I provide objective, evidence-based analysis and advice, free from conflicts of interest or external influence. Assumptions, limitations, and uncertainties are communicated transparently to support informed decision-making.

I apply “do no harm” principles in all assignments, particularly when working on sensitive issues such as gender-based violence, social norms, and vulnerability. Engagement with individuals and communities is respectful, inclusive, and culturally appropriate, with careful attention to risk mitigation and safeguarding.

I follow ethical research practices consistent with World Bank and UN standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and secure data handling. Research methodologies and instruments are designed to minimize risk, avoid extractive practices, and protect the rights and safety of participants.

My work emphasizes methodological rigor, triangulation of data sources, and validation of findings through structured engagement with stakeholders. Deliverables are subject to quality assurance and peer review processes aligned with MDB and UN expectations.

I am accountable for the quality, integrity, and timely delivery of all outputs. I adhere to clear attribution practices, responsible knowledge sharing, and transparent disclosure of potential conflicts of interest in line with institutional requirements.
